Donald Schumacher has over thirteen years of experience as a matrimonial lawyer. He was admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey in 2001. Donald received his Bachelor of Science from Trenton State College (now known as The College of New Jersey) in 1993. Donald received his Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2001. Donald served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable James B. Convery, P.J.S.C. (retired) of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, Family Part from 2001 to 2002. 

Donald’s dedication to the practice of family law originated during law school years when he interned at the Seton Hall Center for Social Justice, Family Law Clinic representing clients in matters of marriage dissolution, child custody and support, and spousal support. 

Donald is a Barrister of the Barry I. Croland Inns of Court. He serves as an Early Settlement Panelist in Morris and Essex counties, where he provides guidance to family law practitioners and litigants on family law issues. Donald has been recognized by his peers for his experience and performance in the field of matrimonial law. Donald has experience litigating high net worth cases in several different counties throughout the State of New Jersey.
